Master data management are done on desktop with all the relevant data about warehouses, their structure and properties. The goods movements and status changes can be initiated on the mobile devices (PDAs and tablets).
By assigning an item to a fix location all the movements will be limited to this position. Otherwise the system will select or offer suitable locations.
Locations are defined and maintained in the desktop application. Every important detail of the locations – e.g. hierarchy, exact position, dimensions, type, temperature, store-in and picking priorities, reservations – are handled by the WMS system.
L-mobile WMS supports various barcode labelling methods. Item, stock, location, pallet, etc. barcode labels can be printed with the relevant data stored in the L-mobile WMS database.
Based on the identified purchase order and its positions workers can post the movements and all the information of the reception process.
Processing the received note, in the one-step or two-step reception the eventual storage location can be selected, over the entry of the necessary information of item quantities and quality informations.
Individual stock items or a batch of stocks are moved between warehouse locations. Relocations can be initiated manually or by previously issued transport orders.

The commission / picking of customer orders and their positions. The system can support the picking of an individual order or the batch picking of merged positions from multiple orders (e.g. same date / customer). Stock data, route optimisation assist the picking employee, all the required data scanned or entered through the process.
In the course of the inventory the mobile user selects the inventory area: a warehouse, a part of the warehouse, one or multiple stock locations or choose an inventory list prepared beforehand on the desktop. The stocks found – quantities and properties such as batch numbers – are compared with the logical stock information of the WMS, the required bookings of corrections are set into motion.
